Launching Into A Public Space

Today marks the first day that my documentary, Margaret Garcia: An Intimate Portrait can be viewed for free on Youtube. I wanted to allow my doc time to screen at different live venues as a way of honoring my hard work on a project that was created for public consumption. The screenings allowed me to meet lots of wonderfully supportive people and artists.

After a year of live screenings at generous venues such as the Ventura County Museum, Plaza de la Raza, and East L.A. Film Festival, my film’s Youtube release will mark a new beginning. Many people have shown lots of interest in watching my film from the moment I began production, a year before the COVID era. I’m happy to finally publish my film for wide public consumption.
